What’s your idea for a new Nursery………

Wow, how a new little bundle in your life can throw everything up in the air and scatter all over your pretty settled existence…..

Life as we know it is going to change forever and for the better……for one we moved house as we needed more space to accommodate our new arrival…..which has given us new challenges……

We decided to assign the smallest and prettiest bedroom for the nursery.

I set about painting the room in Chiltern White……we live in an area where the we have uninterrupted views of the Chiltern Hills so we thought it made sense to have the colour inspired by the name on the wall of the nursery…..I wanted to add a bit of colour to the wall behind the cot bed so opted for Beachcombe Grey which works really well with the Chiltern White.

We love Elephants and have gone a bit Nellie crazy as you can see! It’s amazing how a beautiful sticker can transform a plain wall!

Just adding a splash of soft pink here and there can brighten the mood and make it a fun place for the baby!

Our little Munchkin loves looking up at the bubbles when preparing for the new day……

Feeling inspired, go for it…..we used….

Dulux – Chiltern White/Wall, Beachcombe Grey/stripe
John Lewis – cot bed, bedding, change mat
Ikea – brown leather rocking chair
Dunelm – grey Sheepskin rug
Primark – Flamingo blanket
Amazon – Elephant wall sticker
